St Anne's Haverthwaite Christmas Tree Festival

The video on the right was created from still photos taken just before we left the church on Christmas Eve morning.

The service took place at 3:00 pm and involved the children in bring up to the nativity table all the figures who took part in the event of Christmas Eve 2019 years ago.

All the children including our teenage Narrator Tomek Witkcowicz worked with the vicar Rev. Dr Jim Bruce to deliver the Nativity Story which brought much laughter and loud applause.

The Christmas Tree Festival

We had a number of visitors in the congregation who were amazed how lovely the service was and how the Children from 6 months up were involved and how the vicar engaged with everyone in particular the children.

After the service we repaired to the Church Hall for a well earned coffee or something a little stronger. It was well worth all the hard work. Thank you to all who attended and supported our little church.

We had them over to Haverthwaite to run a Christmas Time Service for us; Cath's lovely soprano voice and the songs she had written about Christmas were a big hit along with superb guitar playing from Angus. We can recommend them!
